The Global Japanese Studies Education and Research Incubator develops and organizes several advanced education programs at the University of Osaka related to the study of Japan. Programs offered by GJS-ERI include the Global Japanese Studies Unit of the University of Osaka Honors Program for Graduate Schools in Humanities and Social Sciences, the Graduate Program for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies in Global Japanese Studies, and the Graduate Program for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies in Digital Humanities.
