Education Programs

In addition to its ongoing contributions to the enhancement of the existing Graduate Program for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies in Global Japanese Studies, the Global Japanese Studies Education and Research Incubator will offer a new Graduate Program for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies in Theory and Practice of Minority Education in Japan beginning in the 2022 academic year. GJS-ERI is also in the process of developing other education programs, including an Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences Education Program that focuses on conveying knowledge of “Japan” in ways that can lead to the productive implementation of research results and a University/Community Collaborative Education Program that attempts to resolve social issues through practical coordination with local governments and other groups.
